Erasing mistakes, not opportunities

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Ink Intervention is a Colorado-based 501(3) nonprofit organization established to provide free mobile laser tattoo removal services to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated Coloradans focused on highly-visible, gang-related, racist, and antisocial tattoos that are no longer representative of their values and could inhibit employment opportunities.

Statistically speaking, Coloradans who are unable to secure employment after paying their debt to society are around 80% more likely to reoffend. An important, and often overlooked, factor in this disparity is problematic tattoos that can cost thousands of dollars to remove.

This is why our treatments and your support are so vital to the health and future of Colorado.

Following treatment, through our network of community partners all over the state, we then provide resources for workforce training, job placement, mental health services, addiction recovery support, and financial assistance to ensure that no matter where we send our clients, they have everything they need to make prosocial choices and rebuild their lives after serving their time.

This means less reoffending, safer communities, and more employed Coloradans.

We are 100% dependent on public support and grant funding.

Your support makes this all possible!
